TECO Tool
It is best practise to technically close (set status TECO) every production order.
The right time for TCEO is when the production ended and the related activities like component consumption, operation confirmation and goods receipt are posted in the SAP system. This is also the case if the planned production quantity was not fully realized.
Automatic technical closing based solely on dates and status can only be recommended for ideal error-free processes. Normally a final check before TECO by the production controller is needed.
The PREISS Consulting SAP Add-On ‘TECO Tool’ offers automatic consistency checks with freely definable tolerances. You can activate different kind of checks, moste of them about consistency between goods receipt quantity, confirmation and component consumption.
Check results for order headers, operations and components and all details from the order information system are available for display in one screen.
Production orders can be automatically technically closed in the dialog transaction or as background job in case of ‘green’ check results.
The TECO Tool is available for SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA on Premise and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (on request).
Price on request.
